Feeder Cattle Futures are traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
The price of Feeder Cattle is quoted in cents per hundred weight.
The standard contract size is 50,000 hundred weight. The minimum
trading increment is a 0.025 cents.
Feeder Cattle prices are read as follows:
A price of 71.125 would be read as 71.125 cents per hundred weight
A move from 71.125 to 72.125 would be a difference of $500.00
excluding commissions and fees. The minimum change is 0.025 cents
or $12.50
Formula: $0.72125 - $0.71125 = $0.0100 *50,000 = $500.00
